    Plain English

    What is a transfer?

A King can hand a sub to another King, and it takes three signatures.

    What it is

A transfer is a King handing one of his men to another King. The man changes hands, and his old King's name comes off him as the new one goes on.

Being given away is one of the heaviest things that can happen to a sub. Done properly, it is a scene, not a deal struck between two other men over his head.

Which is why it takes three signatures here, and the last one is his.

    Where it comes from

The fantasy of being sold on is old, and it has been played out in the open before. In April 1976 the Los Angeles police raided a mock slave auction that a leather club was holding at a bathhouse to raise money for charity, and the raid is still told as part of leather history.

Online, being handed over has stayed a fantasy with nothing behind it. One King tells another he can have him, and the only record is the conversation.

    In their words

    Handed over

What happens to a man whose King gives him to another. Not dropped and not sold off — passed on, on purpose, to somebody his King chose for him.

“Aren't you Atlas's?” “Was. He handed me to Dominik, and I signed on Sunday.”

    How people do it

None of this is a rule anyone enforces. It is how Kings who pass a man on tend to go about it.

    • Talk to him first

A man worth owning should not hear about his own handover second-hand.

    • A loan before a gift

Plenty of handovers start as a loan, an evening or a week, before anybody talks about for good.

    • Choose the next King for him

Giving a man away is a judgement about who deserves him. The good ones choose carefully and tell him why.

    How it works on fStable

It takes three signatures, in order. His King offers him to another King, with terms of his own if he wants. The other King accepts or turns him down. Then the man gets a new contract that says in writing he is being transferred, and nothing moves until he signs it.

He is told the moment he is offered, and who to. Until he signs, his King can pull him back. When he does sign, the old collar comes off and the new one goes on in the same moment, and his certificate records which King he came from.

    Is it safe?

Nobody is handed over silently or without his own signature. If he does not sign, he stays exactly where he is and loses nothing.

A King cannot offer a man who is on a break, and cannot offer him to a King the man has blocked. And the contract he signs with his new King has the same way out as the old one.
