    Plain English

    What is denial?

Your King sets a timer, or you set one on yourself, and you hold out until it runs down.

    What it is

Denial is not coming until somebody else says you can. A King sets how long, a day or a week or a month, and the man holds out until the clock runs down or his King lets him out early.

Some men wear a cage for it and some do it on their word alone. What makes it denial rather than a diet is that the decision belongs to somebody else.

And it is honest or it is nothing. A man who gives in says so, and owning up is part of the game.

    Where it comes from

Being told when you may come needs no equipment at all, only a rule, a date and a man who keeps to it. The hardware has a stranger history than the kink. In the nineteenth century, rings and cages were sold to stop men touching themselves, as a cure for what the doctors of the day called self-pollution. The scene took the same idea and handed the key to somebody else.

Online, it became a countdown. Men post how many days they have gone and who holds the clock, and the number is the whole post.

    In their words

    Keyholder

The man who decides when you come. He might hold the key to an actual cage or only the clock, and either way it stopped being your call the day you gave it to him.

“When do you get out?” “Ask my keyholder.”

    How people do it

None of this is a rule anyone enforces. It is how men who hand over the clock tend to go about it.

    • Start short

A day, then three, then a week. The men who last a month mostly got there a few days at a time.

    • Tease, then deny

Plenty of Kings keep a man close to the edge without ever letting him over it. The wanting is the point, so they keep it fed.

    • Say who holds it

Half the pleasure is the telling. Day nine, and whose clock it is, makes a whole post.

    • Confess if you slip

Giving in and owning up is part of the game. Giving in and hiding it ends it.

    How it works on fStable

A sub can put himself on a clock for up to thirty days. The King who owns him can set one too, and his replaces whatever the sub set for himself. The King can add time once a day, never taking it past thirty days from when it started, and he can reset it or let the man out early whenever he likes.

When the clock runs out, the man closes it and it counts as served, and so does an early release from his King. If he gives in first, only he can say so, and his King is told. A clock he set on himself he can stop whenever he likes, quietly, and it is never marked as broken.

The countdown shows on his profile and beside his name when people browse, with who set it. Whatever note came with it stays between the two of them.

    Is it safe?

The timer is a clock, not a lock. Nothing on this site can keep a cage on you. If something hurts, goes numb, swells or changes colour, it comes off now, and the clock does not get a vote.

No clock can be set for longer than thirty days. Going on a break stops your King setting or adding to one, but it does not pause the clock, because a setting cannot pause a real cage. Come out to wash, and come out early if anything is wrong.

Owning up to giving in takes no worship from you. It marks your obedience score, and your King hears it from you instead of finding out.
